Camp Friendship
Owner Tony Torres spent a week with some amazing families and kiddos at Camp Friendship in River Ridge Louisiana. What’s Camp Friendship?
Camp Friendship is a week-long, day camp for children and teenagers, 3 years of age through high school, living spina bifida and similar orthopedic conditions. Campers are paired with high school aged counselors and participate in activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, field trips and other coordinated activities.
Tony spent time teaching them about adaptive sports and also got to share his passion for WCMX. He was able to share resources and let kids demo some of the new WCMX chairs by Mike Box.
